My trades
+ Add a trade
How to use it (the whole thing)
- Open the app once a day. Look at the light at the top.
- Only buy when the light is GREEN. Red or amber: buy nothing new today.
- Buy Today's pick if its card says BUY NOW or SET A LIMIT. If it says WAIT or SKIP, or you already hold that coin, use the first backup that says BUY NOW or SET A LIMIT. The box "What to do today" names the card for you.
- One new trade a day, at most. A limit order that's still waiting counts as today's trade.
- Before buying, open the coin's news or your exchange's announcements. If there's a delisting, hack or exploit notice in the last 30 days, skip it and use the next backup.
- Put in only the amount the card shows (your % of pot). Never more. On the exchange, pick isolated margin and the leverage from Settings (5x or less).
- Add every trade (and every limit order you place) to My trades straight away. For practice trades, tick Practice. (MEXC positions, if you linked MEXC in Settings, show up by themselves.)
- Check My trades every morning, after the daily close, and again in the evening if you have a limit order waiting. Sell only when it says SELL, and sell the same day. There is no take-profit. Every SELL (and every trade close to liquidation) is also listed in the red Act today box at the top.
- Losing trade? Don't add money and don't average down. The liquidation price is your stop.
- Only use money you can afford to lose completely.
What the app checks
The light (Bitcoin)
- RED, no new buys: Bitcoin is lower than 30 days ago, or below its 200-day average price.
- AMBER, wait today: Bitcoin has fallen 4% or more in the last 24 hours.
- GREEN, buying OK: anything else.
Why: in the tests these rules only made money when Bitcoin was rising.
The buy list
A coin makes the list only if all of these are true:
- It's a crypto coin. No stablecoins, gold, stocks or funds.
- At least $1 million was traded in the last 24 hours.
- It's up in the last 24 hours, but by less than 20%.
- Shorts are paying (funding is zero or negative). This is the most important rule: in the tests it kept liquidations low (2.3% of trades, against 11.9% for coins with high positive funding).
- It hasn't more than doubled in the last 7 days.
- It isn't 35% or more below its 7-day high (that's a crash, not a dip).
- It isn't at a new 30-day low.
- It has at least 15 days of price history.
The coins that pass are sorted so the one where shorts pay the most comes first. That one is Today's pick. The next four are backups.
What the labels mean
On the Today list
On My trades
Words you'll see
- Perpetual (perp)
- A futures contract with no end date. You bet on the price going up (a "long") without owning the coin. This app only does longs.
- Short
- A bet that the price will go down. "Shorts" are the people making that bet.
- Leverage
- 5x means $50 of your money controls a $250 position. Gains and losses are 5 times bigger.
- Liquidation
- If the price falls to the liquidation price, the exchange closes your trade and the money you put in is gone. At 5x that's roughly a 19–20% fall.
- Funding
- A small payment between longs and shorts every few hours. Negative funding means shorts pay longs, so you get paid for holding.
- Limit order
- An order to buy at a set price or lower. If the price is already below it, it buys straight away; if not, it waits until the price comes down to it. A "market" order buys straight away at today's price.
- Isolated margin
- Only the money you put into this one trade can be lost, not your whole account. Always choose isolated.
- Margin
- The money you put into one trade (the card's "Put in" amount).
- Position
- Your trade on the exchange: margin × leverage. $50 at 5x is a $250 position.
- Take-profit
- An order that sells automatically at a set profit. This app doesn't use one.
- Average down
- Adding money to a losing trade to lower your average price. Never do it.
- Trail exit
- The app's only sell rule for winners: once a trade has been up 30%, sell when a day closes below the lowest price of the 7 days before it.
- Daily close
- The end of the exchange's day: 00:00 UTC, which is 1:00 am where you are. "Yesterday's close" is the price at that moment.
Where the prices come from
Public prices from Bitget. If Bitget can't be reached, Gate is used as a backup (the top of the page says which). Prices are nearly the same on every exchange; funding can differ a little. The list is what counts.
With the MEXC link, your MEXC positions use the same Bitget/Gate prices. A coin that Bitget and Gate don't list gets its prices from MEXC, through your helper.
MEXC link (optional)
If you trade on MEXC (only if MEXC's own terms say it serves your country; the guide explains), Briskcoin can read your MEXC futures positions through a small helper that you run yourself (a free Cloudflare Worker; the guide shows how). You link it in Settings → MEXC link (optional). Without it, Briskcoin works exactly the same.
- My trades then starts with a From MEXC group, updated every time the app refreshes, with your MEXC balance. Positions with something to do (SELL, close to liquidation) come first, and the calm ones are folded under one line when there are many. Every SELL and liquidation warning is also listed in an Act today box at the top of Today and My trades.
- Buys (longs) get the same labels and the same sell rule as the trades you add yourself, counted from the day the position was opened (UTC day). The liquidation warning uses MEXC's own liquidation price.
- Shorts show their profit or loss only. Briskcoin's rules are for buys only: manage them yourself.
- A MEXC position opened today counts as today's one trade, and the Today list never tells you to buy a coin you already hold on MEXC. If Briskcoin can't read MEXC, the list says REFRESH FIRST until it can.
- Don't add MEXC positions in My trades: they appear by themselves. Add a MEXC limit order by hand only while it waits, and remove that copy once it fills.
- Briskcoin can't sell or change anything on MEXC: you close positions on MEXC yourself.
Make your MEXC API key read-only (on MEXC tick only the "View" boxes). The key goes into your helper's secrets on Cloudflare, never into this app.
Your data
What you type (your pot, prices and amounts) never leaves this phone: it's saved only in this browser. The app only asks Bitget or Gate for public prices, for the coins on the list and the coins in My trades. If you clear your browser data, your settings and trades are deleted.
Briskcoin never asks for your exchange password or keys. If you use the optional MEXC link, your READ-ONLY key sits in your own Cloudflare helper, not in this app or on your phone. The app keeps only the helper's address and its passphrase (on this phone), and the passphrase only lets this app read from your helper. With the link on, the app also asks your helper for your MEXC positions and balance, and for the daily prices of coins that Bitget and Gate don't list.
Disclaimer
This app gives signals only. It is not financial advice and it never places trades. Trading crypto with leverage is very risky: you can lose all the money you put into a trade. Test results from the past don't promise future results. Every trade is your own decision.
